An Austrian atheist has won the right to be shown on his driving-licence photo wearing a pasta strainer as "religious headgear".Niko Alm first applied for the licence three years ago after reading that headgear was allowed in official pictures only for confessional reasons.Mr Alm said the sieve was a requirement of his religion, pastafarianism. Lol.

Apple's Mac OSX 'Lion' could arrive next Thursday
Apple is expected to launch Mac OSX 10.7 - codenamed "Lion" - as soon as next week, according to reports which say the company has instructed its retail stores to prepare machines for the upgrade by this Sunday.
Machines in the store are being fitted with extra RAM where possible for the upgrade from OSX 10.6 ("Snow Leopard").The upgrade will cost $29.99, or £20.99 in the UK. Lion requires at least 2GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor - meaning it is compatible with Apple computers excepting the Mac mini from late 2006 onwards.
There are also rumours that Apple may launch new versions of its MacBook Air slimline notebook, possibly on Tuesday - when it usually releases hardware - with the software upgrade, which is only being delivered virtually to machines already running 10.6, following on Thursday - the day when Apple usually releases operating system upgrades.
Are you planning on getting OSX Lion or keeping Snow Leopard ?

Nintendo sued over glasses-free 3DS technology
"The lawsuit was filed in a New York court by Tomita Technologies. The owner of the patent in question, and founder of Tomita Technologies, is one Seijiro Tomita, who worked for Sony for 30 years.
"Mr Tomita invented and developed technology relating to displaying stereoscopic (3D) images on-screen for viewing with the naked eye... without utilising glasses or other devices," the lawsuit claims.
The original patent, filed in 2003, pertains to "a stereoscopic video image display device for displaying different video images for the eyes of a viewer".
That certainly sounds rather like the 3DS, which uses parallax barrier technology. A thin sheet in front of the display is full of tiny slits that mean certain parts of the screen are hidden from one angle, but visible from another. With your two eyes placed at different angles to the screen, each peeper sees a slightly different picture. Nintendo's implementation is particularly impressive, although the spell is broken if you move your head, or the console, even slightly.
The lawsuit doesn't specify exactly how the 3DS infringes on the patent. Nintendo is no stranger to legal conflict either. Tech companies regularly sue the socks off each other, so it wouldn't surprise us if nothing much comes of this latest courtroom conflict."
Oh Nintendo...
Have any of you purchased to 3DS, if so how is it?

New Headset, And A Review
Today, my new headset finally arrived. The SteelSeries Siberia V2 and I must say, its amazing. I tried it out on a few fps games at first and the quality of the sound was spot on, I could estimate the locations of my enemies so easily, it was awesome. I then tested the headset with some music, I must say I was blown away with the quality considering it's a gaming headset made for gaming. Another great feature is that its noise cancelling, and does a very good job of blocking out annoying outside noise.
A lot of people say that you are always better off buying a separate mic with headphones rather than a headset since it's better value for money. Well judging from this headset I don't think so, it's much better than headphones I've used in the past. Also the mic can easily be tucked away so you can use the headset as a normal pair of headphones if you are out and about.
In conclusion I feel this is a must have item for any gamers set up, whether you are casual or hardcore. So if you are on the lookout for replacing your broken headset get your self a Siberia V2 Headset NOW.
