Google+ challenges Facebook in social network battle
Online search giant Google has launched a new social networking website in its latest attempt to take on Facebook, which now claims more than 500m users.Google+ allows people to share photos, messages and comments but also integrates the company's maps and images into the service. But some people are saying that they've copied features of Facebook while adding a video chat function.Bare in mind Googles previous efforts to compete with Facebook ended in failure, with both Google Wave and Google Buzz proving unpopular with users.
Would you use Google+ instead of Facebook?

ReplyDeleteIt'll take a long time to beat facebook.
ReplyDeletefacebook just hit 750 million and is projected to have 1 BILLION users by Xmas...great that they jumped on the band wagon and im sure theyll have somewhat of an small impact being that their google but a lil too late to catch up to facebook
ReplyDeleteThis started back in November when Google fired the first shot by stating that you can't have our contacts API without reciprocity. That really pissed Facebook off. Thus, the war.
ReplyDeletehopefully they can beat facebook, facebook is overrated.

Hmm, I've become disillusioned with Fb, but I don't think I'm going to jump from one social networking site to another. All my friends are already set up on Fb, which is the only reason I stay, even if Google+ had amazing features, I really wouldnt bother unless I had to change to keep in contact with my friends.
ReplyDeleteThis does actually look really good.
ReplyDeletewanna try this but...also dont
ReplyDeleteWow really ? I hadnt heard this yet till now, thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteI dont know whta will be better..Google or Facebook..as far as I know both are saving personal info and so on..I rather not trust either.
ReplyDeleteaww
ReplyDeletegoogle already have orkut
haha
Well as if Google doesn't make enough money, most people would probably stick with Facebook.
