Current iPhone 4 |
Apple is to release the "iPhone 5" in September, according to reports from component suppliers in Asia who are gearing up to build the next generation of the company's smartphone. The new "iPhone 5" will look very similar to the current iPhone.
Reports suggest that the new phone will use an A5 processor like that included in the iPad 2 released in March and feature an 8MP camera (compared with 5MP in the iPhone 4). Some reports suggest that it is testing a higher-resolution or larger version of the screen than that in the present model.
The new devices will include Apple's new iOS 5 software, which includes its iCloud capability to synchronise data between devices, and to activate and update phones without requiring connection to a computer, as well as offering photo sharing and Twitter messaging across many apps.

ReplyDeleteAlready?!?!?! Someone needs to tell Apple to slow down..

ReplyDeleteDidn't they just release the 3rd one? I don't keep up with these things
ReplyDeleteI'm not really an Apple fan, but I guess lots of its changes are uber-cool. But I still prefer Android-powered phones.
ReplyDeletewould love to get one, hopefully it's "better" rather than "better marketed"....we'll see
ReplyDeleteI think that if Apple got there heads out of their butts and released their OS for other phone manufactures to use, they'd be a lot more profitable.
ReplyDeleteThey could do what Google is doing, by controlling the AppMarket and music market, thus making 80% of their income just from those 2 things.
I'm glad I found this blog. Following.
