R.I.P. Zune

Microsoft is sending Zune to the grave where Microsoft brands go to die. It’s the end of the road for a name that once symbolized Microsoft’s grand plans to curb Apple’s entertainment ambitions. Which it never did. The Zune failed to compete with Apples iPod rapid growth in market share.

However it seems that Zune isn't the only MP3 brand that is dead. It would seem they are all dead. Especially with the release of the iPhone which acts as a phone and an MP3. Who really carries around a phone and an MP3 player any more?

  1. I wasn't much into this whole iPod mp3 player thing. I had a very small one which worked well for me, nothing fancy. I've only know one of my friend who recently owned a Zune, though he doesn't talk much about it.

  2. I'm sorry to hear that the Zune is dead but I guess you're right, I hate iPhones though so I will always take out my iPod as well as my Blackberry.

  3. I still carry around a phone and an mp3 player, even though my phone has a lot of songs on it. Really, I am sad that Zune is dead.

  4. I have never even heard of a Zune- Maybe it lacked getting out into the public?
